Eco-Shop Recharge, Renew, Recycle: Empowering A Greener Tomorrow

Eco-Shop new initiative that transforms how Malaysians think about and dispose of everyday items. Many people aren't aware that even small e-waste items can and should be recycled. Batteries, found in nearly every Malaysian household, contain hazardous materials like lead, mercury, and cadmium.

When improperly disposed of, these substances can leach into our soil and water sources, causing lasting environmental damage. Through proper recycling, we can prevent contamination, preserve valuable resources, and reduce our collective environmental impact.

As Malaysia's leading ultra-affordable household retailer, Eco-shop is stepping up to address this challenge. Eco-Shop launched their the comprehensive Eco Power Programme to make battery recycling accessible to all Malaysians.

Starting from 1 March 2025, Eco-Shop is deploying dedicated Eco Power recycling bins across all Eco-shop outlets nationwide. This makes responsible battery disposal more convenient than ever for our customers.

Eco-Shop Klang Valley primary recycling points:

• Eco-plus @ Nu Sentral

• Eco-plus @ IOI City Mall

• Eco-plus @ Berjaya Times Square
