Step into a captivating monochrome red and gold Chinese Garden at the Centre Court, featuring intricate Chinese paper-cutting motifs. Highlights include a grand arch, a charming Chinese pagoda, and the twelve Chinese zodiacs.

A picturesque bridge spans over an interactive digital koi pond, where shoppers can select their wishes and see them beautifully displayed on the pond. Adding to the enchanting atmosphere, the Gold Blossoming Tree of Prosperity stands proudly in the garden, symbolising abundance and prosperity for all.

Over at the Esplanade KLCC, a majestic Chinese grand arch is flanked by equally impressive towers. The structures are adorned with auspicious red lanterns, creating a tunnel-like visual treat and offering shoppers the perfect opportunity for festive photos. 

During the campaign period, you can look forward to a line-up of cultural performances and engaging activities, including:

• Lion Dance: Experience the energy of traditional Lion Dance performances on 19, 26 January, 2, 9 February, and the first two days of Chinese New Year (29, 30 January).

• Chinese Instrument Music: Serenades by traditional instruments such as the erhu and guzheng on 18, 25 January, and Chinese New Year Day 1 (29 January).

• Jewellery Workshop: Shoppers can participate in jewellery-making sessions in collaboration with Luna Jewellery on Chinese New Year Day 1 and Day 2 (29, 30 January), with additional activities for Shoppers Day on 19 and 26 January.

Shoppers who spend RM2,500 or more across two receipts are eligible to redeem RM100 in Suria KLCC Shopping e-Vouchers and a set of Suria KLCC Red Packets. For those spending RM10,000 or more across two receipts, the reward is RM300 in Suria KLCC Shopping e-Vouchers along with a set of Red Packets. 

Additionally, shoppers who purchase RM1,000 in e-Vouchers will receive a bonus RM100 e-Voucher, making it the perfect "e-AngPow" to gift your loved ones. This bonus is available exclusively to the first 50 customers during the campaign.

In line with Suria KLCC’s commitment to community well-being, this year’s campaign also integrates a meaningful cause. Shoppers can support mental health awareness by purchasing a Suria Ribbon Pin for RM10. Each pin allows shoppers to choose their wishes, which they can then toss onto the Gold Blossoming Tree of Prosperity at the Centre Court.

Alamanda Shopping Centre

Alamanda Putrajaya also adopts the theme of a contemporary Chinese Garden this Chinese New Year, from 17 January to 2 February. Visitors will be enchanted by a stunning Centre Court display featuring traditional Chinese structures such as grand arches, bridges, and pagodas.

To further elevate the experience, exciting performances including Acrobatic Lion Dances on stilts, Chinese Ribbon Dances, and Chinese Opera Mask-Changing performances will entertain shoppers throughout the period.

For younger visitors, Alamanda’s VIKids programme offers a delightful cultural activity this Chinese New Year. On 25, 26, 29, and 30 January, children can unleash their creativity at the Lantern Paper Craft sessions, creating their very own lanterns to take home.

As part of the Suria KLCC group's commitment to mental health awareness, a Green Ribbon Pin sale will run throughout the campaign. Proceeds will benefit mental health NGOs, and shoppers purchasing a Green Ribbon Pin will receive mandarin oranges as a token of appreciation.

Shoppers will also be rewarded with Alamanda Shopping e-Vouchers through the Shoppers Rewards Programme. Spend RM600 or more in two receipts to receive RM30, or RM1,500 for RM80 in e-Vouchers.

Mesra Mall

Over at Mesra Mall in Kemaman, Terengganu, the Chinese New Year campaign will run from 17 January to 6 February. The mall’s décor features a stunning red monochrome colour palette with paper-cutting motifs.

Visitors can look forward to captivating performances, including the elegant Fan Dance, the traditional Lion Dance, and a dynamic Drum Performance, promising an unforgettable celebration of rhythm and culture.

The campaign also includes engaging workshops for children, such as Chinese calligraphy, paper lantern making, and paper cutting. A colouring contest will be held, offering exciting prizes for the winners.

Shoppers can take part in the Shoppers Rewards Programme, where spending RM350 or more at any specialty store entitles them to an exclusive embroidered knot wrist bag.
