Renowned Brazilian Graphic Designer Felipe Taborda Debuts Exhibition in Malaysia at Dasein Academy of Art from September 23 to October 5, 2024, titled “Design Is The Message: The Graphic Art of Felipe Taborda”. The opening ceremony was graced by His Excellency Ary Norton de Murat Quintella, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and Mr. Gooi, President of Dasein Academy of Art, and Felipe Taborda.

As Malaysian Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim plans his visit to Brazil in November, this exhibition serves as a cultural prelude, offering Malaysians a unique glimpse into the vibrant art and culture of Brazil.

Felipe Taborda is a distinguished designer, educator, and author whose works are celebrated worldwide. He began his journey at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and later pursued film and photography at the London International Film School, followed by studies in communication arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Since establishing his own studio in 1990, Taborda’s work has spanned various mediums, including cultural publications and album covers, and has been featured in leading international design books.
