Prevention is better, as women we have played many roles, however, don’t neglect our health and well-being. Regular health screenings are essential to detect potential health issues early on, when they are easier to treat.

1. Breast Exam

A regular breast exam is vital for early detection of breast cancer. It's recommended to perform a self-exam monthly and schedule a clinical breast exam with your doctor annually.  Women's health screening differs from men's health screening due to the unique physiological and reproductive differences between the sexes. Women face specific health risks, such as breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, and osteoporosis, that require specialized screening procedures.

2. Pap Smear

4. Bone Density Scan

5. Cholesterol Test

High cholesterol levels can increase your risk of heart disease and stroke. A cholesterol test measures the amount of cholesterol in your blood. It's recommended to get your cholesterol checked regularly.


6. Cervical Cancer Screening

In addition to Pap smears, cervical cancer screening can also include HPV testing. HPV (human papillomavirus) is a sexually transmitted infection that can lead to cervical cancer. HPV testing can help identify women at high risk for cervical cancer.
