Review: Oh Yeah Banana Leaf @ Brickfields

Why tuk tuk? As you walk into the restaurant you can hear the tuk tuk sound (knocking the bamboo). It’s so aromatic burst with spices and flavourful, you can opt for mutton, prawns, or chicken. I am going to bring my parents when they visit me in Kuala Lumpur.

Oh Yeah Banana Leaf just opened their 3rd outlet in Jalan Tun Sambathan, Brickfields! Their 1st outlet is in Bukit Bintang, the 2nd outlet is in Batu Caves. At Oh Yeah Banana Leaf not only you can savour a wide selection of Northern Indian Cuisine but also fusion like Mexican Indian, Local Delights, Western Food, Pasta, and many more. 

The ground floor serves Northern and Southern Indian cuisine and on the first floor it’s resto-bar a different dining concept besides dining its suitable for events, gathering, meetings, and chill out.

Oh Yeah Banana Leaf always ensures that customers had a memorable dining experience be it their food, ambience, and services. I personally love their décor especially on the 1st floor where they have bar and open area to chill out and it is overlooking Jalan Tun Sambathan.

We also tried their special Kam Heong Seafood Shell Out served on banana leaf, perfect with white rice or you can level-up with briyani rice.

If you are into banana leaf rice, I would recommend you try the viral Bamboo Briyani at Oh Yeah Banana Leaf. My favourite is the mutton, they also has prawns, chicken, fish and vegetarian also.
