Exploring Local Art: A Miniature Display with a Big Local Flavour at The Gardens Mall from 18 August - 17 September 2023. Relive the nostalgia at The Gardens Mall from 18 August - 17 September as the mall celebrates a little slice of Malaysia through a diorama exhibition at the South Palm on the Ground Floor featuring two local artists; Eric Siow of MiniARTure Concepts and Lim Pui Wan of PicoWorm.

Among the many dioramas on display is Eric’s Lok Lok stall which features all your favourite treats, with details down to the colour-coded skewers and the overflowing chilli sauce jar. There is also the Kampung Kitchen diorama and if you look closely, you will find a tiny gecko hiding, waiting to be discovered by the exhibit's visitors.

If you’re longing for memories of your childhood, take a look at Pui Wan’s Ban Fong Provision Shop with its shelf full of biscuit tins and classic gashapon vending machines. Another piece on display is The Old Place, an old-school barbershop complete with mosaic floor tiles, a horse-racing calendar on the wall, and teeny-tiny Master Q comics for customers.
