For five days from the 7th of June, you will get the chance to sample and buy popular snacks such as the famous egg roll from HiWalk Co. and butter shortcake from Yu Jan Shin. YUMMY TAIWAN is the theme for this year and will feature more than 300 Taiwanese food and beverage products from 30 renowned brands.

According
to Mr. James Chang, Director of Economic Division, Taipei Economic and Cultural
Office in Malaysia, the Taiwan Go international promotion campaign was launched
last year to assist Taiwan’s food & beverage industry in their push to
expand their reach in the global market. Last year’s campaign created more than
USD 60 million in business opportunities and version 2.0 this year promises to
be bigger and better. In addition to many large-scale exhibitions across
Taiwan, the campaign will also be held in shopping malls and hypermarkets in
Malaysia, South Korea and the Philippines.

The featured products in this year’s event are divided into four categories: snacks, drinks, noodles, and instant beverages. Yummy Taiwan introduces consumers to many of the most popular food products in Taiwan and free sampling of many highly reviewed products, including one-bite peanut brittle by Lung-Ching, power-up sports drink (powder) from Wellness Concept, spicy chili sauce from Hsiang Gi, rich milk tea from Kuang Chuan Dairy, and plant-based meat from Sanyang Enterprise. Only limited samples available each day, act fast to avoid missing out.
You can also experience being transported into their childhood fantasy in the fairy tale inspired Taiwan Candy House.
Customers who make a purchase of RM50 in a
single receipt will get to enter the candy house and choose two free gifts
within the time limit. Every additional RM50 in a single receipt will entitle
the customer to select one extra gift.

In
addition, customers will also get the chance to take trendy 3-cut photos at the
photobooth with every purchase.
Daily fun
activities include presentation by 8FM DJ Louis Loh and Hana on the weekend, as
well as children costume competition guaranteed to create many happy memories
for the whole family and the opportunity to bring home more than 300 types of
delicious Taiwanese food.
