His Excellency Sandaiga Uno shared that currently under the Indonesian Government’s ‘Spice Up the World’ (ISUTW) campaign, Rumah Makan Nusantara is its 1,301 restaurant out of the goal in achieving 4,000 Indonesian restaurants abroad by 2024.

"Currently there are 1,300 restaurants that carry Indonesia Spice Up The World around the world, so we still have less than 2,700 left. So tonight, we add one, so it's 2,699 less," said H.E Sandiaga Uno, Minister of Tourism & Creative Economy, the Republic of Indonesia during the launch on 17 March 2023.

Indonesia Spice Up the World is a gastro-diplomacy program by the government of Indonesia, targeting to increase the number of spice exports and the further development of 4,000 Indonesian restaurants outside of Indonesia by 2024.

Rumah Makan Nusantara is the first and only authentic Indonesian restaurant located within a hotel setting. The restaurant targeted to open in Q3 of 2023 will have 150 seats available, a variety of Indonesian à la carte dishes from different provinces across Indonesia. The interior of the restaurant includes a modern contemporary look with a classic hint of vibrant Indonesian arts and crafts. Transporting guests to Indonesia without having to leave the country.

As for the menu, delights include the famed Mie Tek Tek, Nasi Goreng Kambing Ala Kebun Sireh, Sate from Madura and Padang from West Sumatra, Ketorpak and Soto Betawi from Jakarta, Tongseng from Central Java, and many more.
