Come for the View, Stay for the Food! Recently, my friend ajak makan at the new Queen City Steamboat & Grill at TREC Kuala Lumpur, located along Jalan Tun Razak. With breath-taking view of the Merdeka 118, Tun Razak Exchange, the golf course from day till sunset and at night. Their steamboat and grill buffet memang tiptop at an affordable price and many choices. 

Queen City Steamboat & Grill is strategically located in front of TREC just opposite valet and open car park. Owned by 3 partners from Bandar Permaisuri, their 1st steamboat and grill restaurant started 3 years ago at Bandar Permaisuri too. 

The restaurant is spacious and occupied the first floor and roof top area, they have indoor dining with air-condition and alfresco dining at the rooftop. We opt for rooftop al-fresco dining so that we can enjoy the sunset and night view. 

The restaurant can accommodate up to 250 people at any one time. It’s perfect for family dining, gathering, events, and more. The place is equipped with ample fans and blowers so that we can dine comfortably. Don’t worry about the rain, because they have retractable pergola with glass covers that will cover you from the rain.

The Queen City Steamboat & Grill is Malay Thai style steamboat and grill that offers wide range of choices, from meat to seafood, vegetables, and they also have ready-to-eat food such as fried rice, noodles, finger foods, appetizers, ice creams, fruits, including desserts, drinks, COWAY water, and many more.

You can expect all the fresh steamboat selections, including fish balls, vegetables, seafood such as fresh prawns, fish, clams and mussels, and marinated meats – lamb, beef, chicken, and fish in various marination all-ready to be grilled.

For the soup base, choose between a choice of wholesome chicken or spicy tom yam soup. I personally love the tom yam soup as it is more flavourful and appetizing. The soup is not too spicy therefore I can enjoy and eat with fried rice too. 

Overall, I had a great dining experience with friends, love the ambience, food is fresh and good, plus the price is so reasonable. RM49.90 per adult eat-all-you-can steamboat and grill. 

Do make your reservations if you want to go and berbuka puasa there.
