Jom follow sis Raya Meriah Max at MyTownKL from 31^st Mac to 1^st May 2023. It has been a while since the last time I sent a physical postcard, this year MyTownKL brings us back to the good yonder days.

I personally love their warm and nostalgic raya decors inspired by a Malay village house that not only showcases the true essence of the festive season but also fill the shopping atmosphere with pure joy and happiness that allow us to create unforgettable memories with their loved ones.

MyTOWNKL revived the tradition of sending locally made postcards – creatively illustrated by Artbysong, complement with a heartfelt personal message by the sender that carries sentimental value for years to come. As such, a post office setting with retro mailbox is re-created for the convenience of the shoppers to deliver their festive greetings – a proud collaboration with Pos Malaysia.

Complete with traditional performing area or ‘panggung’, the decoration features intricate details such as traditional wooden panels, combined with modern elements of clean lines, bold colours, and contemporary shapes; complemented with eye-catching batik fabric, hanging from the roof tops throughout Central Town.

According to Mohd Azhan Che Mat, General Manager of MyTOWN Shopping Centre, “It has been an extremely promising year for us as we’ve had experience an increase of 175% in sales growth year-on-year. To further hype up the celebration, MyTOWNKL and IKANO Centres released “Raya Meriah Max”, a brand video that highlights the message of joyful celebration can bring people together and create unforgettable memories. The air is filled with laughter, music, and the aromas of delicious food, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and happiness.”

Starting from 31 March until 1 May 2023, you are welcomed to participate in an array of Raya activities and be mesmerised by special performances while shopping or dining at MyTOWNKL.
