Movie Review: Sumpahan Syaitan

Hey! Are you into horror movies? On recently sis went SUMPAHAN SYAITAN movie premiere at DaDi Cinema, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur together with friends. Based on the movie title sis thought it was a horror there is a big BUT… it’s a plot twist! SUMPAHAN SYAITAN will be shown in all cinemas including Brunei and Singapore starting 2nd March, 2023. SUMPAHAN SYAITAN Synopsis 

Synopsis 

This story started with Sam who was scammed into making an MLM investment. Out of desperation, Sam had to borrow money from a violent moneylender named Branco. After Sam realizes he has been cheated out of MLM investment, Sam takes his family to seek his best friend, Malik to escape from Branco. Malik has ordered Sam & his Family to go to an old Hotel he just bought to hide. 

Ever since Sam went to hide and manage at that hotel, a series of unfortunate and strange things happened. Apparently, the hotel has been cursed by a demon that the owner of the hotel will die in the hotel during full moon.

What will happen to Sam and his family? What will happen to the guy who cheated on Sam? Will Branco get his money back? 

Review

SUMPAHAN SYAITAN is a comedy horror movie which I personally find it entertaining with a few of their plot twist and fresh ideas. Overall, its was not like the usual horror haunted hotel movie, SUMPAHAN SYAITAN has injected more elements. 

Behind all the horror story and strange things that happened there are comedy elements that you need to watch and perhaps you can relate to it too. If you are looking for horror comedy or Farid Kamil’s movie, you should not miss this SUMPAHAN SYAITAN.
