Gadget Review: Infinix Hot 20

Welcome back to my Gadget Review segment! Recently I tried and tested Infinix Hot 20 smartphone. Overall, I’m impressed with its usability, battery life, performance, and camera quality for budget entry level smartphone. Let’s check out my verdict.

Infinix Hot 20 Review

As mentioned in my unboxing post, Infinix Hot 20 is Fast and Fun smartphone priced at RM599. This model is available in Sonic Black, Legend White, Tempo Blue, and Fantasy Purple. My unit is Tempo Blue. If you are looking for a budget daily usage phone, spare phone, or for your children or parents, Infinix Hot 20 is the perfect fit. 

Design

The design is stylish and had premium feel with the size of 170.7 x 77.4 x 8.3 mm (6.72 x 3.05 x 0.33 in) and weight 198 g (6.98 oz) superlight weight is great. I have no problem holding or using the phone for long hours. 

Battery 

With a battery of 5,000 mAh is certainly a plus point. For light user, the phone can last for about 2 days without streaming or watching social media video. If you are looking for long battery life budget phone this one fit in your requirement.

Display 

With 6.82” 90Hz fluid gaming display, smooth in every touch and experience a silky-smooth browsing experience and faster game response. I enjoyed watching YouTube and Netflix on this phone, the screen is just right and performance also smooth. Sound also clear.

Performance

Infinix Hot 20 is also one of the smartphone for gaming with MediaTek Helio G85 processor is built for gaming greatness and supported with its long lasting battery life. In addition, the HOT 20 has an Ultra Touch mode, which quickens responsiveness, providing almost instant visual feedback to touch inputs.

Camera Quality

I took some day and night photos and videos; I’m satisfied with its quality. With its 50MP camera unit, giving it a significant edge over its previous generations. Featuring a 50MP Super Nightscape Camera with a large F1.6 aperture, delivers crisp snapshots with incredible levels of detail be it day or night.

The Camera comes with AI Mode and Super night Mode that make it effortless to capture good shots that look like pro. The Super Night Mode which improves photo detail at night without overexposing the shot, resulting in truly stunning images when the sun is down. 

Close Up Shot

When using portrait mode, subjects are more prominent and photos are more layered, giving users the opportunity to capture their subjects in outstanding detail. Pretty amazing, and I love the results.
