UEL’s FIFA 22 Playoffs last weekend saw the participation of teams including Multimedia University (MMU), the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), Swinburne University and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) amongst many others. Following three days of intense e-football competition, the Playoffs drew to a close with two players from UiTM securing the top spot in the Grand Final stage set to be held on 11th December 2022.
Zarif Ilman bin Norjafree from ‘Void Gaming Lab’, one of the FIFA 22 finalists representing UiTM Pahang said: “Competing in UEL and coming this far in the competition has been a tremendous experience for me. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to showcase my abilities amongst some of the best esports talent in the country. While I’m extremely proud to have made it to the Grand Finals, I’m more excited to share the stage with my fellow collegemates. No matter what, I’m sure we will make UiTM proud and we hope to have the support of our fellow students”
