AEON CO. (M) BHD. (AEON), in collaboration with Colours of India Creation and Global Mega Exhibition has set another milestone as the nation’s record holder for organising the “Largest Participants Wearing Indian Attire in A Gathering” by The Malaysia Book of Records following its Deepavali gathering event held at AEON Mall Bukit Raja, Klang.

The event was graced by Charles Santiago, Members of Parliament Klang and Keiji Ono, Managing Director of AEON. Also present at the ceremony was G V Sathia Kumaran, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Colours of India Creation and Global Mega Exhibition, as well as the representative from Malaysia Book of Records.

More than 2500 customers from all races and ages donned with Indian attires visited the mall to participate in the national record-breaking event. It is also enlivened with more than 60 booths selling Deepavali festivities items and various other fun filled activities such as local artist performance and lucky draws.

It was a joyous event with Diya lighting ceremony, music, Diwali dance performaces, MAF Kotak Bersamamu presentation to the homes, lucky draws, celebrities to entertain the guest, and many more.
This gathering was recorded in the Malaysia Book of Records as the “Largest Participants Wearing Indian Attire in A Gathering”. Last year AEON also recorded two events in the Malaysian Book of Records for “Largest Participation in A Virtual Zumba Event” which was held during the MCO and ‘Most Number of Outlets Participating in National Anthem Singing Simultaneously’ for 2021 National Day celebration.

According to Keiji Ono, AEON wants to enrich our customers with traditional and values as well as becoming the centre for family reunions and gatherings.
