If you’re able to donate blood, you should really consider doing so, because it’s a life-saving action that can make a real difference to people’s lives. In conjunction with the World Blood Donor Day, yours truly donated blood at McDonald’s Malaysia Blood Donation Drive that was held at the McDonald’s headquarters located at Damansara Utama. The blood donation drive was opened to the public.

This is not the first time for me, as I have donated a few rounds and participated in McDonald’s previous Blood Donation Drive. Therefore, I’m not so nervous, it was a beautiful day and I arrived around 11.30am, where the event started at 11am. The whole process and flow were so organized and adhering to SOPs.

From the registration, weight check, blood test, and consultation before the final stage of the blood donation I felt at ease.

Had a chat with the person next to me while I was donating blood, even though it was his first-time donating blood, he was calm and the whole process went well. So proud of myself that I can help others feel more at ease.

Hey! After the blood donation I got my rewards too. As a token of appreciation, McDonald’s Malaysia provided McChicken meals and Sundae Cones to all blood donors who turned up to donate blood.
