Congratulation to Muhammad Shauqi Danial! The Champion of The Audition 2021 Finale who won a contract worth RM50,000 from Armani Entertainment Group (AEG). It was a great journey throughout The Audition 2021 from Kuala Lumpur, Kuantan, Johor Bahru, Penang, Kuala Terengganu, and Kota Kinabalu to discover new talents.

The Audiation 2021 Finale held at @ Atrium, The Strand Mall, Kota Damansara on 19th Dec 2021 found their champion. I was at The Audition 2021 search in Kuala Lumpur and at the Finale; it was an eye opener to experience how each talent performed their best on stage to convince the judges and the audience.

The judges of The Audition 2021 Finale were Michael Ang and Datuk KK Chua. The search for new talent for The Audition 2021 is over ended and a total of 20 participants successfully qualified for the stage the end of this competition held at the Atrium, The Strand Mall.

The Auditon 2021 is Malaysia's new talent search competition published by Armani Entertainment Group (AEG). The competition was held to unearth the talents of the participants in various fields of art such as singing, dancing, acting and comedy jokes. The audition is 100 percent from the jury and the participants went through only a few phases of audition.

First, by uploading a video longer than 1 minute on Instagram each with a mandatory hashtag. The second phase, you will be called to audition sessions with jurors according to your nearest location. Starting last October, live auditions were held in Kuala Mud followed by Kuantan (Pahang), Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu (Sabah), Kuala Terengganu and ends in Penang. 

AEG Chief Executive Officer, Datuk KK Chua said, throughout the period the audition turned out to be Malaysia has a lot of new talent and them highly eager to venture into the country’s entertainment industry.

Saya terkejut apabila ada peserta daripada awal ujibakat sehingga ke final menunjukkan peningkatan ketara.  Ini kerana mereka mendengar  pendapat kami selaku juri ketika mereka beraksi pada ujibakat.

Ramai yang menyanyikan lagu Anuar Zain tetapi mereka mengalunkannya mengikut lenggok mereka sendiri.

Persembahan nyanyian dan lakonan  mereka sangat bagus. Ada dua peserta yang saya lihat kualiti persembahan  mereka banyak ‘improvement’ sehingga mereka layak terpilih untuk peringkat akhir The Audition 2021 dan tidak mustahil jika mereka terus berusaha dan bekerja keras, mereka bakal mencabar pelakon yang ada sekarang. 

Industri memang perlukan ramai bakat baru  dalam bidang lakonan tetapi di Malaysia, orang suka yang tengok pelakon yang ‘elok-elok’ walaupun tidak berbakat. Hendak cari pakej lengkap yang cantik dan tampan serta  berbakat, memang susah.  Penonton ‘tengok’ ikut mata bukan ikut otak.

Kalau ada rupa tetapi tak berbakat, hantarlah ke kelas lakonan Fauziah Nawi atau Ogy Ahmad Daud pun, mereka tak akan mengajar.  Mereka yang cantik ini, ‘self- concious’. Apabila berlakon mahu nampak cantik saja.

Pada pertandingan ini, sebenarnya ramai yang layak menang tetapi tempat untuk  yang terbaik ada tiga saja. Jadi selepas berbincang dengan Datuk KK Chua, kemungkinan kami akan menyerapkan mereka yang berbakat ini untuk berada di bawah pengurusan AEG.

AEG dengan bantuan Michael Ang berjaya mencungkil ramai bakat baru. Mereka yang berjaya ke final semuanya ada kualiti. Saya lihat bakat muda ini boleh membawa kelainan kepada industri hiburan tempatan.

AEG menyediakan platform untuk mereka mengembangkan bakat terutama pembangunan dan sahsiah diri untuk berhadapan cabaran termasuk kemahiran berkomunikasi dan berhadapan dengan media.

Berikutan sambutan yang memberangsangkan daripada seluruh negara, kami akan terus mengadakan pertandingan ini setiap tahun.

I didn't expect to win because I think today's preparation is only 60 percent. Alhamdulillah, my sustenance and of course I am very happy with this victory. I chose the original song, Hafiz Suip titled Ku Akui and time was running out for me to re-compose the song but I was determined to perform my best in this final stage. 

Before this I had only entered karaoke competitions and Battle of the Band.

For the planning after this, I will follow what is arranged by AEG and this victory will hopefully realize my dream of becoming a famous singer.

The Audition 2021 Winner Prize

The Champion of The Audition 2021 will receive a contract worth RM50,000 including training and development. In addition, the singer will record singles compiled by the top-charts complete composer along with music video. While for the actors, the winner will get a chance to collaborated with renowned director Michael Ang in his latest drama.
