Hey! how are you coping with the 3^rd phase of MCO? To be honest I’m worried looking at the number of Covid-19 cases keep increasing every day. All these stress, anxiety, and long hours plus hectic WFH had put a toll on my hair, skin, and wellbeing too. Well, the first thing that attracts my attention it’s their minimalist packaging, nowadays I believe less is more. After going through most of The Ordinary products that covers from skincare to haircare, I decide to try Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density and 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil to tackle my hair fall and frizzy concerns.

This 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil is completely unrefined, obtained from the kernels of the fruits of Marula tree. It’s a multipurpose antioxidant-rich hair, body, and face oil; mostly composed of oleic acid and linoleic acid but also contains procyanidin, catechins and flavonoids.

The Texture: The Ordinary 100% Cold-Pressed Virgin Marula Oil

Marula oil offers antioxidants that counter the effects of free radicals and improves the skin's elasticity and complexion. It also hydrates the skin, alleviating peeling and flaky skin to restore a radiant tone. This formula contains only cold-pressed virgin African Marula oil that is 100% unrefined. Marula oil is also suitable to be applied to the hair for a healthy shine.

I applied a few drops on my hair ends, especially the frizzy part, immediately my hair is moisturized, shiny, and more manageable. For this oil, I apply it on the ends of my hair, not on the top of the scalp. Of course, less frizzy and dry hair will lead to less breakage too. I like the efficacies and multi functions, sometimes I apply to my skin too.

I like the lightweight texture that penetrates very fast into my scalp and its fragrance-free too. After using it for two weeks I find that my hair is stronger, less breakage, and therefore contributes to less hair fall. I will continue to use it and hope to see more baby hair grow especially on my center parting and hairline.
