Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G User Experience, Is It Worth It?

Heyo! Recently I shared about my first impression and unboxing of Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G and I received many inquiries mainly about phone the camera, performance when switching from app to app, battery life, and is it worth to buy it? After using this Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G for almost 2 weeks, here is my verdict and review.

As a content creator and influencer, mobile phone is one of the gadgets that I can’t live without. And the camera is ultimately important, nowadays phone camera has become so advanced that they’re able to take good quality photos like the camera. Therefore, investing in a high-spec mobile phone with good camera quality enables me to perform better and faster.

The main highlight of Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is its camera, the most “atas” or advanced pro-grade camera system. Not One but FIVE cameras in ONE phone to Wow You! Yes, that’s right, now it's so easy for me to take beautiful selfies, crisp mood shots, portrait shots, closed-up photos, and even wide-angle or scenery photos with just one touch.

It has a built-in AI-powered features that elevates each shot and video. Therefore, capturing stunning, studio-quality photos in various lightings and settings, or shoot and edit videos on-the-go isn’t a hassle anymore. The newly enhanced camera system really increased my productivity.

With the 40MP f/2.2 front camera, I can take selfie photos and videos from a distance using the timer and the quality are crisp and clear. When I take near selfie shots, the camera system will automatically auto-correct and enhanced moderately which allows me to post on the spot.

Here are some shots I took using Galaxy S21 Ultra at this new Arte Mont Kiara Residence, this is Floating Butterfly Garden is located at Level 27 Arte Mont Kiara Tower 1; there are 3 towers with 39 floors on each tower. 

As you can see the details, clarity, and vivid colors in the photos. It look so real like you are at the location itself. The quad rear camera comes with ultra-wide, wide, and dual tele-lenses that feature an upgraded 108MP pro sensor, from which you can capture 12 bit HDR photos with 64 times richer color data and more than three times wider dynamic range.

Let’s check out the zoom features, I heard so much about the 100x Space Zoom during the virtual launch. When I got the phone and tried it myself, it’s a wow! I took this photo from the Floating Butterfly Garden at Arte Mont Kiara 27^th Floor using the S21 Ultra on 100x zoom and I can see the Istana Negara so clear.

When zooming in on S21 Ultra, you don’t have to worry about sacrificing clarity. The Galaxy S21 Ultra features 100x Space Zoom which is powered by Samsung’s first-ever Dual-tele lens system – one optical 3x and one optical 10x both equipped Dual Pixel (2PD) AF – so you can capture clear shots even when you are from the action.

Now I can shoot in 4K at 60fps across all lenses including front and rear four lenses. Plus, with a 12-bit RAW file option, you won’t miss a single detail when editing photos. The photos and video are sharp, clear, and dynamic.

Plus, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is equipped with an improved Bright Night sensor, improved Night Mode, noise reduction, and 12MP Nona-binning technology. Now I can capture challenging shots like a dimmed room, or night scene with quick and excellent quality.

Performance

Switching from one app to another app on Galaxy S21 Ultra is seamless, I don’t encounter any lag. The S21 series is faster because of the brand-new chipsets and streamlined its software interface.

Samsung S Pen

Another milestone is that for the first time Samsung is bringing the S Pen experience to the Galaxy S21 Ultra with Wacom’s technology. Of course, the S Pen will definitely increase user productivity and creativity from drawing to note-taking to editing photos and signing documents. Seriously, I’m thinking of getting an S Pen as it is so convenient and I can edit faster.

For better and faster connectivity, Galaxy S21 Ultra is one of the first smartphones to support Wi-Fi 6E. You will be able to enjoy more bandwidth and a faster internet connection, so you can stream and share content in the blink of an eye. With hyper-fast, ultra-low latency 5G, S21 Ultra is built to provide fast video downloading, smooth video conferencing, and streaming.

Battery Life

Don’t underestimate the importance of battery, when we’re on-the-go or travelling battery life is crucial. The Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 5,000 mAh battery which can support a full day of use with Samsung’s default settings when it is full charged. The Galaxy S21 Ultra doesn’t come with a charger, if you are a new Samsung user you have to purchase the charger separately. 

Is Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Worth It? 

Well, if you are aiming for high specs, high performance, and excellent camera quality then this is the phone that fit your lifestyle. Overall, the camera and design exceeded my expectation, and the performance is one of the fastest for Android phone by far.
