MY JET Xpress Airlines Air Cargo Services Inauguration Flight Ceremony

According to MY JET Xpress Airlines CEO, Azrul Hisham Abdul Wahab said that “Air cargo movement in East Malaysia alone has doubled,” he said during the inauguration ceremony. MY JET Xpress Airlines cargo has hit almost 100 metric tonnes of cargo transfer daily now compared with only 30- 50 metric tonnes before the pandemic.

This is the significant growth and the success of MY JET Xpress Airlines is driven by ensuring that their level of services achieve the maintenance of 98% punctuality or ‘On Time Performance’ (OTP).

En. Azrul Hisham expects the company to continue to grow and see strong demand in air cargo services in China and Indochina. With that, MY JET Xpress Airlines partnered with Zen Aviation Sdn Bhd to explore international routes and provides fast delivery for the e-commerce sector.

Moving forward, My JET Xpress Airlines also plans to purchase two more aircraft to meet the increase in demand for air cargo services. According to Azrul Hisham, the additional aircraft will enable the company to meet the growing demand on the current routes as well as explore new routes, such to China and Indochina. MY JET Xpress Airlines currently operates five flights daily to Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City and East Malaysia on a scheduled basis.
