This year, the Merdeka Campaign is celebrated in a very special way with local beauty queens who are the finalists of Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 and the Miss Universe Malaysia 2019, Miss Shweta Sekhon. The jeweller, being the official jewellery sponsor for the Miss Universe Malaysia 2020, have gotten the support from the Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (MUMO) and the 14 beauty finalists in promoting the campaign and drive the #sokonglokal.

This year, marks the
second year of the collaboration between HABIB and MUMO, being the official
crown maker & jeweller of Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 which for the very
first time, the crowning will take place in the form of a pay-per-view eGala to
be streamed live from www.missuniversemalaysia.com.my on 5th September 2020.
One finalist will be crowned MISS HABIB and voting will be done online through
HABIB social media platform.
