Hey! I’m back to share more about Post Covid-19 Travel SOP Guidelines and New Normal featuring Theme Park, Museum, Public Transport, and Restaurant. This was my 2nd-day itinerary with Tourism Malaysia and I’m going to take you to explore Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, Muzium Negara, BRT Rides, and dine at Baba Low Bangsar Nyonya Restaurant.  Let’s check it out!

Trust that you have read about my previous post about the New Normal SOP For Post COVID-19 Travel in Malaysia. The previous post I shared more about Hotel, Shopping Mall, Tourist Attraction Place, of course, Restaurants and Cafes SOP Guideline and New Normal. It's safe to travel now but we have to be responsible for ourselves by abiding the SOPs to travel safely.

Hey! Sunway Lagoon Kuala Lumpur has re-opened! Rated as Asia’s Best Attraction” for four consecutive years by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions “IAAPA”. Sunway Lagoon is one of the fun places and theme parks to go for the whole family.

We were at the re-opening of the theme park and I personally experience the place and the safety measures and protocols that they set to ensure public safety. There are so many signages reminding the public about the New Normal and SOPs. 

Well, the newly launched Ke Sana Ke Sini Ke Sunway domestic tourism package by Sunway City Kuala Lumpur has recorded sales of more than 10,000 room night stay, with 5,000 room night stays sold within the first 72 hours alone after the campaign’s launch.

SOP at BRT Sunway

  

BRT From Sunway Lagoon 

After Sunway Lagoon we tried the BRT from Sunway Lagoon Station. It was a pleasant journey, from Sunway Lagoon we walked thru the Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall to the BRT Sunway Lagoon Station and I m using Touch N Go card to pay for my ride so its contactless.

Part of the SOP at the BRT station are scan and key in our details before entering the station, there are clear marking on the floor to and from the exit and entrance point, signages to remind the public of the SOPs and COVID-19, and of course social distancing practices.

After that, we stopover for lunch at Baba Low Nyonya Restaurant, located at the corner shoplot at the Bangsar Utama. It's a local kopitiam style that serves really good and authentic Melaka Peranakan everyday food.

Before we entered the restaurant, SOPs like temperature checking, QR code scanning, and diner’s details recording were carried. The restaurant also adhere to the social distancing protocol.

We ordered Nyonya Laksa (RM9.50), a traditional noodle dish served in spicy gravy with a touch of coconut milk, as well as cucumber, bean sprouts, shrimp, cockles, fish balls, and egg; Mee Goreng Nyonya (RM9.50) dark sauce fried noodles served with pineapple sambal belacan; Pai Tee, Otak-Otak, Popiah Peranakan, and Tauhu Sumbat, and Cendol (RM6.50) too.

When was the last time you visited the Muzium Negara? For me, it was quite some time ago and I m glad I back to Muzium Negara because I learned new things as well. One of the best ways to understand and learn about a country's history and culture is by visiting the museum. 

Muzium Negara is a beautiful building featuring traditional Malay architecture and stands majestically in the heart of Kuala Lumpur as a national treasure. Muzium Negara which was upgraded in 2008 shows an interesting and interactive medium for visitors to explore the history of Malaysia starting from the prehistoric era until now.

3. Use hand sanitizer

4. Apply social distancing throughout the whole visit

Muzium Negara is headed by a Director and placed under the administration of the Department of Museums Malaysia, Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture. There are 4 galleries at the National Museum mainly the Pre History, Malay Kingdoms, Colonial Eras, and Malaysia Today.

Post Covid-19 Travel SOP with Tourism Malaysia

Overall, I had an enjoyable 2Day1Night Trip with Tourism Malaysia team exploring Klang Valley and get to experience the SOP practices or protocols at different locations. Is it safe to travel? Now I can confidently let you know, yes it is safe to travel but we have to follow and comply with the New Normal & SOP guidelines to ensure our safety and health.
