1. Part your hair

The first step is to divide your hair into a top section and a bottom section. Grab the top section and pin it up and out of the way.

2. Tease the roots

Take the bottom of your hair and gently tease the roots. This adds both a little natural volume and makes it easier for the hair extension clips to grip onto your hair.

3. Start clipping!

Take hold of a weft (a hair extension with multiple clips) and hold them against the bottom of your hair. Comb them into the roots of the section you just teased before lining them up with your part and clipping them closed in place.

4. Release your hair

Next, you can release the top section of hair that was clipped out of the way. As you do this, grab one or two inches off the bottom of this section and leave it down to cover the extensions you just put in. Clip the top out of the way again.

5. Tease the roots

Tease the roots of this new hair, ready for the clips.

6. Clip-in

Following step 3, start clipping again, this time using a weft with three clips.

7. Let your hair down!

Now let the rest of your hair down. Have a play with your part until you’re happy with how it sits. If you’re looking for more length, add in a single clip weft on each side at the front to frame your face.
