30 Reminders of COVID-19 Movement Control Order (MCO)

I will never forget this COVID-19 pandemic period. Malaysia Movement Control Order (MCO) period starting from 18th March 2020 till 31st March 2020 (Phase 1);   1st April 2020 till 14th April 2020 (Phase 2); and 15th April 2020 to 28th April 2020 (Phase 3). Singapore Circuit Breaker (CB) period starting 7th April 2020 till 4th May 2020, at the moment or until further notice.

30 Reminders of COVID-19 Movement Control Order (MCO) 

Today is 8th April 2020 (Wednesday) the 22nd day of MCO and the 2nd day of Singapore Circuit Breaker and it's my 24th Day of Work From Home (WFH). My company started to implement WFH on 16th March 2020. 

30 Reminders of COVID-19 Movement Control Order (MCO)

1) Petrol price is down to RM1.30 per liter.
2) Our offices throughout Malaysia will remain closed throughout the Movement Control Order period and will continue to operate fully on a Work From Home.
3) All schools abruptly moved online.
4) Self-distancing measures on the rise.
5) Tape on the floors at stores to help distance customers (1 metre) from each other.
6) Restaurants are closed for dine-in, only for take away and delivery only.
7) A limited number of people are allowed inside stores.
8) Non-essential stores and businesses mandated closed.
9) Entire sports seasons cancelled.
10) Concerts, tours, festivals, entertainment events are cancelled.
11) Weddings, family celebrations, holiday gatherings are cancelled
12) No masses, mosque, churches, temples are closed.
13) No gatherings of 50 or more, then 20 or more, now 10 or less.
14) Children's outdoor play parks are closed.
15) Shortage of masks, gowns, gloves for our front-line workers.
16) Shortage of ventilators for the critically ill.
17) Panic buying sets in no disinfecting supplies, no laundry soap, no hand sanitizer, find private label hand sanitizer.
18) Shelves are bare.
19) Manufacturers, distilleries and other businesses switch their lines to help make visors, masks, hand sanitizer and PPE.
20) Government has checkpoints in every province and is closed to all non-essential travel.
21) Airline tickets are cheap but we can't travel.
22) Press conferences daily from Ministry of Health.
23) Daily updates on new cases, recoveries, and deaths.
24) Barely anyone on the roads.
25) People wearing masks and gloves outside.
26) Essential service workers are terrified to go to work.
27) Medical field workers are afraid to go home to their families.
28) "Flatten the curve" is a daily saying, along with "We are in this together," and "We heal as one".
29) This is the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic was declared on March 18, 2020 in Malaysia.
30) After all, we are all one! Malaysian. 

It's a reminder that LIFE and FREEDOM are precious and not to take the things we dearly love for granted. We have so much!

  3. Banyak perkara tak dapat dibuat sepanjang PKP ni kan. Tapi tak boleh stress. Karang lain pulak jadinya. Mohon cepatkan ia berakhir..
    Rasa nak bebas macam selalu.

  4. Permulaan 2020 yang sangat menduga kita semua. Minyak murah tapi tak merasa isi sangat sebab kena stay at home. Keluar pun bila ade urgent shja.

    Smga negara kita akan cepat pulih dr covid19. Pray for malaysia.

  5. Harap semua orang boleh ikut arahan dan penjagaan.. susah juga bila pergerakan terbatas untuk peniaga macam Kak Sue. Apapun Kak Sue terima ja, nak biat macamana kan.. dan semoga semuanya cepat pulih macam biasa..

  7. Just having chance to stay at home one week only during this MCO, then need to work as usual bcs working in food industry. Hope this covid19 will be over soon.

  8. Mula2 duduk rumah mcm ok lagi..tapi bila dah lama jadi tepu otak. Harap semua ni berakhir cepat..nanti otak jd jem terus..hehehe
