Most Malaysians look forward to Balik
Kampung during festive season, including myself. That’s the moment we reunite
and celebrate with our family and friends. Chinese New Year vibes were in the
air as Domino’s team spread cheer by distributing pizzas at KTM KL Sentral
and Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), treating commuters to a delightful
journey as they travel back to their respective hometowns. Tadah! I got my
pizza too!

I was at KTM KL Sentral when cheerful Abang and Kakak Domino’s distribute Free pizza with an exclusive Ang
Pow to the crowds who are heading back to their hometowns or destinations.

The
Deputy Minister of Transport, Yang Berhormat Dato' Kamarudin Jaafar was also
part of the festive cheer at KTM KL Sentral during the distribution of goodie
bags and pizzas to the commuters.

At the same time, there were lion
dances to hype the atmosphere. It was fun and happy moments seeing so many cheerful
faces, smiles when the crowds received their pizza.

In addition to providing
pizzas to the commuters, Domino’s also shared the pizzas with the teams on duty
at KTM KL Sentral and TBS as a token of appreciation for their unwavering
support and dedication to serve the commuters during one of the busiest
travelling period in the nation.

Muhammad Redzuan Bin Mohd Safri,
one of the Abang Domino’s on the ground at KL Sentral said,” It is my
first-time being part of this distribution and I am overwhelmed with a great
feeling of giving to our customers. Typically, I would deliver pizzas to those
who orders them but today, distributing hundreds of pizzas here and seeing the
surprise and smiles on their faces makes my heart full. What’s even more
meaningful is to know that our small gesture here will go a long way as it sets
them for a positive experience for their journey home to their families.”

Ms Lilian and her children,
travelling back to their hometown Penang who was at TBS said, “We missed our meals
as we were busy packing and in a rush to catch the train. I was worried
especially for my kids but was surprised to see Domino’s distributing free
pizzas today. We are really thankful and motivated to embark on our journey
this Chinese New Year. I’m sure most of them here will have one less thing to
worry about today”.
