KEDAH Fashion Week 2019 Experience & Designers' Awards

Heyo! What’s up? Recently I was in Alor Setar for KEDAH Fashion Week 4.0 2019, that was held at Aman Central Shopping Centre. Here’s my 4D3N unforgettable #KFW2019 experience and also the designers who won the three special designer recognition awards for this year. By the way, not only we attended the full show but we also managed to explore the city a little bit plus tasted their local famous food.  

KEDAH Fashion Week 4.0 2019 Experience & Designers' Awards @ Aman Central 

Well, I was at Kedah Fashion Week 2018; overall this year shows, performances,  guests, and everything are definitely bigger, better, and bolder. Even the runway and backdrop were so grand, you would not want to miss a photo with it. I'm sure many were impressed with the huge floral backdrop, including myself. 

Day 2 OOTN: KEDAH Fashion Week 4.0 2019 @ Aman Central

As mentioned earlier, this year we got to explore Alor Setar city and their local food a little bit because we stayed at StarCity Hotel which is located in the heart of Alor Setar. Plus the hotel is just 2 minutes drive and about 5 minutes walk to Aman Central. Last year we stayed at Keriang Hill Resort which is about 20 to 30 minutes drive, that enabled us to experience the serenity of kampung life.

#KFW2019 featured 18 renowned designers and 26 runway shows from 5th to 7th July, the highlight of the shows are Day 1 KFW 4.0 Gala Night, Day 2 Men's Night Out, and Day 3 was the major highlight KFW 4.0 Finale Night. Day 1 OOTD: KEDAH Fashion Week 4.0 2019 @ Aman Central

Day 1 

The opening show were STUDIO showcasing their Spring Summer and latest collection of sports apparels, active and streetwear. Swatch's vibrant and versatile watches never fail to amazed me. 

The KFW 4.0 Gala Night opened with a runway show from international designer, Four Degree Studios by Yadanar Naing Win from Myanmar. And then followed by Naem Azmer Zamre,  Ikmal Mukmin, Hasif Afiq & Muhammad Hafiz, Hariz Zakwan, and Syafieq Ayman. Plus Hafiz Suip’s musical performance was so power that night.

The day kicked start with ICHAFA, Siti Khadijah and Rina Salleh modest wear. Then followed by Carlo Rino Spring Summer 2019 Collection exudes the vibrancy of the colours and urban chic designs that are perfect from day to night.

Men's Night Out sparked lots of interest and also what we like to see more. Well, fashion mostly associate with female, it's cool when men have some flair for fashion too.

The designers who showcased their collections for Men's Night Out were Rizal Latif, Vin H’ng, Hafiz Carson, Taufik Idros, Norman Naim, and Alfian Rahmat. Some of the designers did wow me with their collections, especially Vin H’ng with his opera concept. And not forgeting special appearance and performance by Andi Bernadee.

Day 3 

Cosas United showcased their stylish, and comfort travel wear, gear and essentials that make me want to head straight to their boutique after the show.

At night is the highlight of the whole event, Kedah Fashion Week On the night of the grand finale, get mesmerized by the meticulous designs of our renowned local designers’ brand, Amazé, Salleh Hamid, Wan & Mary, MODE, Hasfitri Yusof and Seth&Luna with an exclusive performance by Ernie Zakri, Best Vocalist of Anugerah Juara Lagu 32.

Special royalty guest, Her Royal Highness Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Che Puan Muda Zaheeda, (Raja Puan Muda Kedah) and The Honourable Yang Amat Berbahagia, Tok Puan Norzieta binti Zakaria who came for the Grand Finale Night, together with Yang Berbahagia Datin Hariyanti binti Amit, Yang Berbahagia Puan Hajah Nor Afza Binti Osman, Dato’ Sonny Ho, Managing Director of Belleview Group, Datin Suryani, Director of Belleview Group, and Ms. Grace Ho, Director of Belleview Group.

The top 3 designers' winners received an exclusive BMW x KFW limited edition trophy to bring home where other designers brought home an exclusive token of appreciation.

Overall, Kedah Fashion Week 4.0 2019 was a wow and this year it's definitely bigger,  better, and bolder with more sponsors like BMW, Grab, Muas Mo, and more. Can't wait to see what's in the pipeline for next Kedah Fashion Week 2020, guess it's going to be a blast! See you all next year and thanks to Aman Central for making this happen and created another milestone.
