Hey! Recently I had a great time and learned some useful cooking tips at TASTE EXPERIENCE with a renowned German Chef, Christian Mittermeier in conjunction with Electrolux 100th Anniversary at TBM, Central i-City, Shah Alam.

On the same day itself, the company had a grand opening ceremony of Electrolux Shop IN Shop at TBM, Central i-City, Shah Alam. The VIPs from TBM, Electrolux and also Chef Christian Mittermeier were there to officiate the launch. Plus there were many invited guests and customers as well at the auspicious event.

Are you or your family a fan of Electrolux home appliances? Well it started with my parents, our home is pretty much equipped with Electrolux home appliances and yes, they are durable as they last for many years and their products are innovative as well.

I have also learned
that, since 1919, Electrolux has aimed to change the world for the better and
29th August marks their 100th Anniversary. Electrolux has strived to provide
time-saving, innovative solutions for homes, giving consumers the chance to
spend more time on things and people that matter.

Then, the event
adjourned with Chef Christian Mittermeier, a renowned German Chef, cooked up a
storm. He is also a restaurateur, passionate author and blogger about food and
cooking. We were privileged to taste two delicious recipes that specially
prepared by Chef such as Braised Carrot with Miso Cream & Passion Fruits
and Rye Sourdough Bread with Whipped Brown Butter & Roasted Buckwheat.

Chef Christian demonstrated his two dishes in less than an hour, by using Electrolux kitchen appliances which make cooking a lot easier, faster and also the food tasted better. The innovative technology and functions of the Electrolux appliances allow us to pre-select the cooking mode and safety features are always emphasized as well.

Personally I find that the braised carrot with miso cream & passion fruits is a uniquely fusion dish. It tantalised my taste buds with the combination of sweetness of the carrot, tanginess from the passion fruit, and slight saltiness of the miso cream.

As for the rye sourdough bread with whipped brown butter & roasted buckwheat, I am delighted to discover the crust is crispy on the outside and the bread on the inside is soft, warm and filled with a lovely aroma!

Chef Christian is down-to-earth, confident and his cheerful character make the guest felt very comfortable to ask questions after the cooking demo. For 15 years, Chef Christian has a close cooperation on many levels with the globally active Swedish Electrolux Group and its AEG brand.

Overall, it was a good TASTE EXPERIENCE. Not only do I get to try the delicious dishes prepared by the German Chef Christian Mittermeier but also learned about the innovation and functions of Electrolux’s kitchen appliances.
