But now I’m more than ready to discover the exciting taste of Portugal with the new Portuguese Chicken Burger @ McDonald’s Malaysia! What are you waiting for, let’s eat!

By the way, what is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Portuguese food? For me, it’s the all- new Portuguese Chicken Burger, because you know Sunshine Kelly can’t survive without spicy food.

McDonald’s Malaysia Launched New Portuguese Chicken Burger 

  

McDonald’s Malaysia’s new Portuguese Chicken Burger is inspired by the sights, sounds and flavours of Portugal. This is the second exciting menu item to be introduced as part of McDonald’s Malaysia’s ‘Discover the World 2019’ campaign. 

The launch of the latest menu item from McDonald’s Malaysia was held at McDonald’s Kota Damansara Drive-Thru on 1 July 2019. The launch included performances from a Portuguese dance troupe. Over the years, McDonald’s Malaysia has taken its customers on exciting taste adventures to countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Korea, and Thailand, by infusing each country’s unique flavours into their menu items through their ‘Discover the World’ campaign.

Let’s eat! First bite… already bursting with rich flavours and spices of Portugal! The yummy and juicy fried chicken patty is dipped in a unique piri-piri sauce, served on a bed of mixed vegetables and fresh lettuce, all sandwiched between a brand new chilli flake bun.

The moderate level of spiciness and slightly tangy piri-piri sauce excited my taste buds, and every bite was satisfying, right up till the final bite. Plus, the new chilli flake bun is my favourite bun because it is fragrant and tasty, with a hint of spiciness.

And good news for chocolate dessert lovers, McDonald’s Malaysia is bringing back the popular Dinosaur McFlurry, packed with swirls of chocolatey goodness topped with chocolate cereals. Ahhh! I’m sure some of you are craving for it now.

More good news!!!! and more excitement to the launch of the new Portuguese Chicken Burger, McDonald’s Malaysia will be introducing a new Augmented Reality game called Catching Nonando.

The launch of McDonald’s Portuguese Chicken Burger is made more exciting with a new Augmented Reality game called Catching Nonando, where customers are to ‘catch’ as many Nonando Chickens as they can to collect points. These points will translate into discount rewards on the Portuguese Chicken Burger

The game is fun and all you need to do is to ‘catch’ as many Nonando Chickens as you can in 60 seconds to collect points. After the game you will be instantly rewarded with discounts on the Portuguese Chicken Burger depending on how many Nonandos you catch.

And to make things even more exciting, there will be a nationwide leaderboard that tracks the top players. The first-place winner will walk away with up to 50,000 AirAsia BIG Points to discover the world on your own, along with other amazing prizes! Omg!!!
