Weekend be like... crave
for freshly bake Japanese toast, brunch and matcha latte. So I went to Bakery Café
Hachi @ 1 Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. This is a Japanese Bakery and Café concept
that is pretty famous for their bread, buns and especially their toast bread, pastries
and more. Love their modern Japanese style interior and more.

The chef is from
Japan and all their sauce that they used are house made. For their bread loaf,
the chef use a special technique to make it soft and with mochi-like and dense texture.
Even after storing it in the freezer and toasting, it will still be soft and
retain its mochi-like texture.
Avocado Wasabi Burger, RM16 |
Avocado Wasabi Burger, RM16
I order the Avocado
Wasabi Burger and latte for my brunch, well you can choose either beef of
chicken. So I go for chicken and it’s grilled lean chicken meat with avocado,
greens and wasabi sauce served with wedges. It’s quite light and healthy as the
chicken meat is lean and grilled. The wasabi sauce is house made so it’s not
that spicy nor too heavy.
Teriyaki Burger,
RM16
My friend chose Teriyaki
Burger, as for the patty you can choose either chicken or beef. And of course
the teriyaki sauce is also housemade, it’s not too heavy. Just nice to eat it
with the bun.

The expatriate manager (perhaps assistant manager) of the 1 Mont Kiara branch likes to wear sleeveless singlet when he appears there in the mornings. Probably after the gym or walk to work. He hangs around the kitchen and the food section areas inside the store. Don’t you think that is rather unhygienic with all the sweat and expose body part. For a Japanese owned establishment, it’s a big shame.
