Tadah! It was a blast at SOGO Central i-City Shah Alam Opening Ceremony recently. I’m sure many of you are familiar with the iconic department store SOGO Malaysia at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Kuala Lumpur right. So now they have opened their 1st expansion at Central i-City, located strategically in the heart of Shah Alam, the gorgeous new mall serves as a shopping gateway for the customers in the Klang Valley area. Oh yeah! so now we have more place to explore, lepak and shopping, let’s check it out yo!

By the way, this year is also SOGO’s 25th Anniversary and the opening of this store is an important milestone and a very exciting step forward as the brand continues to grow. Psst... do you know that SOGO is opening 2 new stores this month, wow I can’t wait to visit their new store in Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru end of the month.

In addition to these 2 new stores, there are actually 3 more new stores coming up soon. So in total SOGO Malaysia has 5 new stores in their development plan. By 2022, SOGO should expand its total network to 6 stores and total retail trading space of 2.4 million square feet.

What I really like about this new SOGO Central i-City is their fresh new look, spacious, and feel plus there are so many brands that I like is available there. The new store is home to over 400 of some of the most sought after brands, spread across over the four floors.

Takeo Cookworks presented a Cooking Demo Showcase by Chef Yatie Kitchen

To make the opening celebration even more exciting, SOGO has partnered with Glowmark for Takeo Cookworks Collection Redemption Program. Running from 11 April until 30 June 2019, shoppers could also stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM4,000 in this program.

In conjunction with this opening special, Takeo Cookworks presented a Cooking Demo Showcase by Chef Yatie Kitchen, where she shared her knowledge and passion for cooking.
