There is an option to climb through the canopy of the rainforest and ascend another 15 metres to one of the observation decks to get the best possible view of the naturally beautiful National Park. Coochiemudlo Island

Coochiemudlo Island is one of the of the lesser frequented islands off the Brisbane coast which means it’s an ideal spot to relax. It has clear, calm water and soft sandy beaches to explore and is only a short ferry ride away from Victoria Point Jetty. If you have a little more energy you can hire a bike or a boat to explore further and find a secluded piece of the island for yourself.

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

This sanctuary sits within 15 hectares of bushland right next to the Brisbane river and is now the largest in the world, housing over 130 koalas. Not only will you see cuddly koalas during your visit but kangaroos, cassowary, dingos and wombats live here too. 

There’s lots to do once you’re here including hand feeding the kangaroos and having your picture taken with the koalas.
