Hey! Do you wish to create your own happy scent? It’s not a wish anymore, it’s a reality. You know recently I had a chance to create my very own customized scent and learnt the principles of blending fragrances at Demeter Fragrance Library x Watsons Malaysia launch. It’s time to tickle your olfactory senses! Demeter Fragrance Library captures the emotive scent and the essence of happy memories in a bottle. It was handcrafted in the USA since 1996 by talented perfumer, Christopher Brosius, the single scent brand is now consists of over 300 different fragrances inspired by everyday objects and experiences.

In case you might wonder why there are so many different scents? It is because our sense of smell triggers our strongest emotional response, Demeter Fragrance Library allows us to choose and personalized our own scent according to our memories or mood.

Demeter Fragrance Library was launched in Malaysia at The Other Half Cafe and exclusively available at Watsons. The launch was graced by James Lee, CEO of Demeter Asia Pacific together with Watsons Management, Thoren Tan, Trading Director and Danny Hoh, Customer Director as well as Jason Park, CEO of Fingertouche (M) Sdn. Bhd.

No we can fully express ourselves in scent, using Demeter’s Fragrance Library 

Now we can fully express ourselves in scent, using Demeter’s Fragrance Library as our fragrance palette, we can design and blend our own custom scent by combining Demeter Fragrances directly on the skin. All fragrances of Demeter start from Memory and it will lead us to a place of happy memories.

So let’s start to create my very own happy scent! Here’s a quick rundown and step-by-step on how to create my happy scent with Demeter Fragrance Library. So my “Sunshine” is the Floral there with the mixture of Lily of Valle, Vivid Rose, Peony, Orange Blossom and Original Musk.

It smells like Sunshine of course! Burst with happiness, like walking in the garden of fresh flowers in white sundress. Am I being too imaginative… hehehe. I hope you can create your own happy scent to.

Demeter Fragrance Library’s single note scents are combinations of the fewest ingredients that comprise a recognizable smell. Notes have special characteristics; they express their nature immediately and do not change over time. Notes, also called accords, are what master perfumers use when making prestige and designer fragrances. They create the familiar top, middle and bottom note dry-down that is associated with how the smell of prestige and designer fragrances change over time.

By the way, Demeter Fragrance Library has six classic scents such as White Musk, Icelandic Aurora, Baby Powder, Sweet Baby, Crystal Rose and other unique scents. They also produced four limited edition fragrances known as The City Version for Malaysians. Inspired by Malaysia’s cultural diversity, each scent is made and named after major cities such as Penang, Melaka, Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur.
