Recently I went to Jinjja Chicken @ The Gardens Mall to
fix my cravings for Korean food especially Korean Fried Chicken with friends.
Ahhh… had satisfied lunch with my friends and now I am thinking to go back
again. Yooo… I tell you, if you are daring and can tolerate high level of
spiciness then you have to try their signature Jinjja Chicken with Monster
Sauce, don’t play play oh its really spicy oh.
Jinjja Chicken is now in Malaysia with their 2 outlets at The Gardens Mall and Sunway
Pyramid. Inspired by South Korea’s rich street food culture, its love for
fried chicken, and its pali-pali (빨리빨리) culture of speed,
Jinjja Chicken aims to create and define ‘The
Authentic Asian Fast Food Joint’.

Jinjja Chicken is a
Korean Fast Casual Chain Restaurant, a fast casual dining beyond just fried
chicken and fries. I love their extensive menu ranging from their signature
fried chicken, to noodle, rice, kimbap, stew, salad, burger, desserts and more.
And their restaurants are HALAL in Singapore and is applying for HALAL in
Malaysia. Let's eat!
Big Bang Set (4-6 pax) @ RM79.90
This is the set you should order when you go with a group of friends or when you want to tapau / takeaway to share with your family, friends or colleagues. You get the varieties of Jinjja singature dishes. 16 pieces of Jinjja wings, 4 pieces of Jinjja drumsticks, 1 chicken kimbap, 4 pieces of fried mandu, 2 regular fries and 4 regular sodas. The best part is I can customize my fried chicken, fries, and sodas.
For the chicken I chose mixed ~ half monster sauce and half yangnyeom sauce. As for the fries I had the sesame seaweed fries and tteokbokki fries. Omg... their sesame seaweed fries is so addictive, its fluffy inside, fragrant and flavourful.
I would suggest you start with Yangnyeom sauce, if you can take it decide to go for the next level of spiciness then only try the Monster sauce. However, my pick is Jinjja Wings monster sauce, yes its spicy but I like it that way because its so Korean. The spiciness its not immediate, it will build-up and kick-in slowly. The chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside. Its flavourful and makes me want to have more.
You can also opt for a bigger Big Bang Set for 8 - 10 pax @ RM149.90 that comes with 32 pieces of Jinjja wings, 8 pieces of Jinjja drumsticks, 2 chicken kimbap, 6 pieces of fried mandu, 4 regular fries and 8 regular sodas.
Jjamjja Myeon @ RM22.90
The bowl is so lovely, I just have to order it. This 2-in-1 Jjampong & Jjamjang Myeon is combination of spicy seafood noodle and black bean noodle. Glad that we ordered this because we got to try both. We can also choose the level of spiciness for our noodles either original, creamy or monster, for this I ordered the original.
Bibimbap @ RM15.90
For those who wish to have rice with their friend chicken then Bibimbap is perfect. Loaded with lots of fresh vegetable, egg and you can choose either chicken or beef. The portion is quite satisfying and tasty too.
Jinjja Drumsticks, 6 pieces @ RM29.90
This is the monster sauce Jinjja Drumsticks, nothing beats their crispy and tender juicy chicken drumsticks coated with monster sauce. Oh yummsss!
Soft Mix (Ice Cream) @ RM2.90
Omg!!! they have the blue vanilla and black sesame, I love both actually. Ice cream is the best way to sooth the mouth and stomach after eating all the monster Jinjja Wings.

Besides, all their
delicious and tempting menus what I really enjoyed dining here is the
restaurant interior design. As I walked in the restaurant looks very spacious,
casual and trendy, the colourful surrounding gives a zety vibes and it’s uplifting. Pstt... students enjoyed RM5 Off from Set Meals, just flash student card to redeem.

Overall I love
their crispy, tender and juicy fried chicken be it any sauce it taste to good
and addictive. Dining here makes me feel so hip and trendy because of the
restaurant ambience, design and the k-pop music. In terms of price wise, I
would say it is reasonable and comes in decent portion. If you are going with a
group of friends or family be sure to order their Big Bang Set. Yes! I will go
back for more monster sauce Jinjja Chicken Wings hehehhe.
