Within an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur city center, we were transported to a different world… a place that we found peace, tranquility, lush greenery and it’s private. AMAN RIMBA Private Estate is located on the quiet edges of Janda Baik in Bentong, Pahang; a perfect private place for family functions, weddings, photoshoots, corporate getaway, events, functions and more.

First and foremost, the villas and facilities in AMAN RIMBA Private Estate are not available for individual rental. As mentioned it’s a private estate and it’s will be an exclusively rental arrangement that will covers the whole estate within the property to one party or group at any one time.

The beauty of private estate is made completely private; when you are in residence, outsiders are not allowed to enter the premises, creating a private and exclusive space for you and your friends or family or guests to enjoy the facilities to the fullest. You’ll never have to worry about meeting strangers at AMAN RIMBA.

There are total of 6 villas with different themes that can accommodates up to 20 pax. There are two multipurpose halls with meeting facilities, whiteboards, flipcharts  and facilities for family events, weddings and for corporate functions or events too. For meeting the function hall can accommodate up to 30 pax, for townhall kind of functions is about 70 pax and wedding is up to 50 pax.

Upon arrival, we had a quick tour around the estate guided by Encik Ashari. We visited the all the 6 villas and the facilities. I was amazed by each villa decorations that inspired by the charming local villages of yesteryears, a wonderful blend of authentic traditional architecture and fine, simple luxury.

Tadah!!! Welcome to my Sireh Villa, it’s a kampong house villa with spacious dining, living hall, workstation, 1 bed room with king size poster bed and open sky top bathroom. Plus a scenic verandah that overlooking the greens and hills.

By the way, all the villas are air-conditioned and come with en-suite hot-water bathroom that has open sky top that let the natural light in. However, I prefer to open the window and breathe the natural fresh air instead of turn on the air conditioner.

In terms of food wise, I enjoyed all the meals that they prepared, mostly traditional village dishes or so called masakan kampung made from recipes passed down from generation to generation. There are varieties of menus and dishes for you to choose from when you do your booking.

Kampung Style Lunch @ AMAN RIMBA Private Estate

We had Kampung Style Lunch which consists of varieties of curries, freshwater catfish fried with chilli (ikan keli masak cili), pucuk paku goreng (stir fried wild ferns), assorted fresh ulam (freshly-plucked local aromatic herbs), sambal belacan and many traditional dishes.

Its dinner time! Here’s our BBQ dinner with chicken, sausages, prawns, squid, lamb, sea bass, garlic bread, corn, potatoes, green salad, pasta and fruits plus out additional 2 fishes fresh from the lake caught by our friends.

Here are some of the outdoor activities that you can do when you are in AMAN RIMBA Private Estate such as river dipping at Sungai Benus just outside the AMAN RIMBA; swimming; hardcourt games like badminton, volleyball or basketball; bird-watching and tree-spotting; and they have recreational bicycles available if you want to explore the surroundings and nearby village. However, cycling on the public roads is entirely at the guests’ own risk. There is also an outdoor trampoline.

I love the tranquil lake view at AMAN RIMBA plus it is very well stocked with a variety of fishes. If you feel like fishing they have fishing gear and bait readily available too. There are so many scenic and awesome spots for photographs.

Some indoor activities such as reading, there are a large selection of books from the personal collection of the owners, housed in Villa Sireh. Plus a fully-equipped games room: the games room includes a pool table, Nintendo Wii set, foosball, mahjong and card games.

Nature Getaway @ AMAN RIMBA Private Estate Experience & Review

Overall, I had a relaxing nature staycation at AMAN RIMBA Private Estate over the weekens. I wish I could stay there longer or go back again. The place is surrounded by lush greenery, fresh air, water flowing, scenic lake, chirping birds making me feels like re-connect to nature. The place is best for a big family events like gathering, wedding, birthday or anniversaries. And also for corporate events and functions or even products launches.
