everyone from young to old. Museum of Illusions is originated by Nikola Tesla

Here are some of
the exhibits that you Must Try when you are at Museum of Illusions Kuala Lumpur:
The Ames Room |
The Ames Room
As we entered the
museum, this is the first exhibit that we saw. The giant and the dwarf. It may look
like an ordinary room, but in effect it is a master of distortion.
The Infinity Room |
The Infinity Room
Wonders never end in this infinity room, the room of mirrors. Mirrors at full height are installed all around creating an optical illusion of infinite space.
The Rotated Room |
The Rotated Room
If you pose it
right and turn it upside down, tadah!!! You get a different perspective.
The Vortex Tunnel |
The Vortex Tunnel
This Vortex Tunnel is
fun but makes me a bit dizzy. I would suggest you try after you have toured and
try all the exhibits first. The Vortex Tunnel made my head spin around, I couldn’t
even walk and I felt like I’m losing my ground through a rotating cylinder,
actually I’m on a completely stable and flat surface. You got to experience it yourself.
The Chair Illusion |
The Chair Illusion
See now I can poke
poke Wendy! Actually she just sat next to me but objects around her creates the
illusions that makes her look small and far. Explore the laws of perception,
and play with roles and size ratios by simply sitting in a chair.
Head On The Platter |
Head On The Platter
Don’t worry there is absolutely no damage and injury in taking this photos. Always wanted to cook or fry somebody’s head? This is your chance hahaha…
Optical Illusions |
Optical Illusions
Prepare to let
bewildering images play tricks on you and confuse both your eyes and brain.
These visual illusions are just a reminder that our senses are imperfect, and
our perception of the world is often distorted. Come and check out our
collection of optical illusions…
The Smart Shop |
The Smart Shop
Basically, Museum
of Illusions holds over 70 exhibits and includes mind-altering rooms, optical illusions,
and a playroom with didactic games and puzzles. It has the largest collection
of holograms, stereograms, and optical illusions across Asia. Designed based on
science, mathematics, biology and psychology, we learnt a lot about vision,
perception, science and the human brain through our attractive and fun
exhibits. In doing so, now we know why our eyes may see things that the brain
does not understand.
