Than This – The Musical is an original production of Gen Y Production Asia; Collaborates
with Befrienders Kuala Lumpur to break the stigma of mental health through
performing arts. Those with great artistic ability naturally turn to art to
express themselves. This production covers a broad spectrum of issues which
includes: severe depression, anxiety disorder, suicidal tendencies, and
upbringing.

Harder Than This, a
contemporary musical production that aims to break the stigma of mental health.
A little unusual; these are actual life experiences of our lead cast who found
the courage to “unmask” themselves on stage.
Ashlyn Harris is one of the lead
cast of Harder Than This – The Musical. Ashlyn is a Malaysian born actor, whom
has recently performed in “Wicked The Musical” of London West End, and she will
be performing together with Erica Gens, an Italian singer – songwriter, as well
as Charine Cham, an aspiring Malaysian musical theatre performer.

Harder Than This –
The Musical will be opening on the 5th
of July, 2018 at KuAsh Theatre,
Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. The original cast is scheduled to perform four shows
in Kuala Lumpur on the 5th, 6th and 8th of July, 2018.
This musical
performance will create a paradigm shift with a new twist of arts in
approaching the mental health issues. Gen Y Production Asia wishes to share
this heartbreaking, yet amusing musical drama with viewers of all ages.

scheduled to open in London in Spring 2019.
