Tadah!!! Welcome to my Grand Deluxe Room. It’s so spacious over-sized corner room offers the ultimate comfort kind size bed and also an extra-large day bed aka sofa tucked in the corner too. The 24-storey property features 257 rooms that has been completely renovated in end 2017 to modern and elegant standards.

All the rooms have been meticulously designed and each room comes with a USB equipped 40” plasma TV and complimentary WIFI to keep you wireless, yet wired.It’s all equipped with new modern fitting and furniture. Plus my room is strictly non-smoking room, which is great because there is no cigarette odor.

The room comes with coffee and tea making facilities, safety box, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and basic toiletries. The bathroom and toilet also quite spacious with high water pressure shower, so syiok and relax when I stand under the shower.

We had our scrumptious buffet dinner, karaoke and games at The Merchant LIVE, is a definite must-visit for those seeking to have some fun. The Merchant LIVE which has recently undergone a complete restyle and makeover. It comes with three private suites with karaoke entertainment in every suite. In addition to karaoke, the biggest suite, the Gold Suite also features a British pool table and an Electronic Darts machine.

It’s a very cozy place to organize a private party or function at the Gold Suite as the room can host about 20 to 30 people. Another section is the The Merchant bar offers a more subdued swanky comfort akin to an updated London gentlemen's club. One such addition is 'The Balcony' an outdoor seating space with impressive views overlooking the busy Federal Highway and the PJ skyline.

When it comes to dining, there are six food and beverage outlets to pleasure our palates such as Utara Coffee House serving local and western cuisine; Japanese deli, Shokudo; and Kafe’ 52 or the Piano Lounge for coffee, snacks or afternoon tea.

Utara Coffee House a food haven is well known for its delicious and addictive array of local and western cuisine that also includes its daily Gastronomic Buffet featured during breakfast and lunch and weekend buffet dinner and high-tea. Utara Coffee house can accommodate up to 180 diners at one time and is open from 6.30am till 11.00pm daily. It also serves as a venue for private functions, but only with prior booking and arrangement.

We had our Weekend Hi-Tea at Utara Coffee House, it’s perfect weekend makan and gathering place for the whole family and friends. There are a wide selection of food from Chinese, to Indian, Local Fare, Japanese, Italian and many more to suits everyone tastebud. I wish I could try all the food but it was just too many good food especially their laksa, pasembur and rojak are great. Plus I find that their Weekend Hi-Tea buffet price is quite reasonable for so many types of food. There is a special discount for senior citizen too.

Overall, I had comfortable and pleasant staycation over the weekend at Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya. The location is very strategic whereby I can go to KL city centre via LRT which is just opposite the hotel and Federal Highway is just next to the hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable, a good support and quality bed that I had a good rest and also I enjoyed the night entertainment plus my high tea at the coffee house.
