The moment I set my eye on its packaging, I love the unique bottle in black that comes with pump. Well BOOST BALM Skin Barrier Cream comes in soft creamy texture that melts on the skin the moment I apply it. It has a very mild and soft botanical scent. It is a natural plant-based cream that is paraben free, sulphate free, cruelty free and vegan.

The Texture: BOOST BALM Skin Barrier Cream 

BOOST BALM Skin Barrier Cream can be use day and night. For day, I usually use 3 pumps, then apply it evenly on my whole face and neck after cleanse, tone and moisturize and before makeup. Eh… don’t forget the neck area also.

As for night, if I have pimples I will dab the BOOST BALM Skin Barrier Cream on the targeted areas after cleansing. It can also be applied on the whole face for skin brightening and firming. Just pump out about 5 cents amount and gently apply it on the whole face using upward motion.

The Application: BOOST BALM Skin Barrier Cream 

As primer, after I apply BOOST BALM on my face it gives a smooth velvety finishing on the skin. I also find that my skin tone is more even and skin is smoother plus it also fills up pores. Thus makes me easier to apply my foundation and my makeup last longer from day to night, up to more than 10 hours after using BOOST BALM.

I also apply a bit on my eyes areas as eye primer I also find that my eyeshadow colors are more prominent or pigmented after using this primer. Plus my foundation doesn’t oxidize so fast.

The Results: BOOST BALM on bare skin

As skin barrier, BOOST BALM helps to protect my skin from environmental aggressions and pollutions. The formula is breathable and natural so any cosmetic products applied on top of it will adhere to the film and not your skin. The makeup products will not directly contact with our skin.

BOOST BALM also helps to boost skin healing, for example I have 1 or 2 pimples due to monthly period. I dab BOOST BALM on the pimples it helps to conceal the redness and after 1 day the pimples size subsided and after 3 days the pimples were gone.

It also helps to brightens skin tone and firming and anti-aging. The immediate results I saw after applying this cream is that my skin became smoother, pores are concealed, skin tone is more even.

The key ingredients of BOOST BALM are bearberry extract to brighten dull skin; geranium & hibiscus extract that are rich in AHA to smoothen skin surface; willow bard extract as natural antiseptic; phytosan k a stem cell derived and extracted from soy stem cell to regenerate skin cells, repair and anti-aging.

What I really like is that my skin feels very comfortable, smooth and velvety after each application. There not sticky or oily feels and it just absorbed into skin fast with leaving any whitish residue. BOOST BALM is suitable for all skin types.
