First and foremost, congratulations to Du Viet for the awards and thanks for having me. I had a great time, good food, great companion and awesome restaurant environments, what’s more can I asked for? I have been craving for Vietnamese food and yes… that evening I memang makan kaw-kaw. I downed 2 cups of Vietnamese Coffee which I shouldn’t but… it was so good that I don’t want to regret it later.

Anyway… coffee story aside, let’s check out Du Viet’s main dishes. I am actually drooling when I write this article, looking at those photos just make me want to go back to the restaurant again. Do look out for their beef pho and also their very unique “Ha-Ha” Lou Sang. Let’s dig in!

There are two types available chicken and beef; I tried the chicken. BBQ juicy chicken fillet served rice vermicelli, fish sauce and generous portion of fresh salad. When combined everything it becomes a refreshing rice vermicelli salad with your choice of topping or just organic vegetarian served with their signature peanut and fish dressing.

This is one of my favourite Vietnamese dish, whenever I go Vietnamese restaurant I will order this. Fresh rice paper rolls with prawns, grilled lemongrass chicken and beef and imperial spring rolls. I find that the Shrimp & Summer Combo Rolls at Du Viet has got more ingredients in their rolls that other restaurant. Don’t for get to dip into their fish and chilli sauce. They also have vegetarian rolls upon request.

I kind of like the concept and combination of everything in this dish It’s the Vietnamese style chee cheong fun wrapped with the combinations of ingredients like shrimps, chicken, mushrooms and served with bean sprout and fish sauce.

The aromatic and flavourful Stewed Beef Brisket with White Radish goes well with steamed white rice and also served with fresh green on the side.
