As a Penangite, I love hawker food like char koey teow, asam laksa and many more, but they might be a bit too oily, salty and unhealthy. This year, I am challenging myself to eat better so I decided to go for healthier options like vegetables, fruits, lean meat plus I cut down on fried and processed food. When was the last time you read a book? My “Me” time! just me, my book plus some soft music and scented candle to unwind. I can’t remember when was the last time I read a book because was too engross with electronic media. I always wanted to work more on the right side of my brain that coordinates and performs tasks that have do with creativity and art. Although I am not good with drawing, I admire beautiful paintings and calligraphy. This year I will learn something new like watercolour painting or calligraphy. Dropped my change in the box after buying lunch today. It may be a small gesture but it creates a big impact for the needy children because no matter big or small, every action makes a difference.
