Recently we had our gathering and big makan at The Manhattan Fish Market, Gelare, Curries N Claws and The Barn Wine Bar at Citta Mall. You can chill out at the mall from day to night.

We started our lunch at The Manhattan Fish Market, they are famous for their fish and chips that you must try! That day we were lucky we got to try their Canadian Lobsters and other seafood platters also.

Canadian Lobster Platter is on seasonal basis, we are not sure this platter it will available until when so enjoy it while it’s still available on the menu. The platter comes with 1 full Canadian Lobster, fish fingers, squids, mussels, assorted chunky vegetables, rice and chips. Satisfying!

This platter is great for sharing with assorted seafood such as fish, squid, prawns, oysters on a bed of chips, rice and some chubky vegetables. You can chose dory, hake, cherry snapper, ocean perch, snapper or cod fish.

Fish & Chips

Generous portion of fish & chips with fresh green salad, you got to love the crispy batter and flavourful fish with the house special sauce. This is their signature dish.

The we moved on to have our desserts at Gelare, they are well-known for their ice-cream and waffles. We had a few types of waffles and also tried some of their pasta and burger. I still love their ice-cream and chocolate chip waffle. Its so fluffy inside, outside its crispy and its light not chewy at all.

Any banana leaf rice lovers here? Well, we love spicy food and banana leaf rice is one of our favourite food. We make a stop at the newly opened Curries & Claws. This restaurant serves not only the usual banana leaf rice but they also have the steam assorted seafood in rassam and crabs curry, something very interesting.

Have you had claypot bak kut the in the bar before, we did! And we had our scrumptious and porkilicious dinner at the The Barn Wine Bar. The place is very cozy and chic. They have quite a wide spread of delicious food and also the finest selection of old and new world wines from all over the world. It’s time to chill, sip some wine and good food.

Hot bak kut teh herbal soup with pork belly and ribs, shiitake mushrooms, and lettuce served with white rice. The broth is flavourful and comforting. One of the fascinating way to eat bak kut teh in the chic bar like this.

Juicy and flavourful baked Portobello Mushrooms topped with bacon, tomatoes, cheeese and rockets.

Bed of fresh greens served with crispy bacon strips, mango and grano padano cheese in herbs dressing. The salad is slightly tangy and light with sweet mango and addictive crispy bacon strips.
