What is Fine Thread Contour (FTC)?

Fine Thread Contour also known as thread lift is a unique technique that stimulates collagen production. This treatment is suitable for face and body, it helps to lift-up the contour can be instantly generated with a much more youthful complexion by y self-induced structure in deeper layer of the skin. This is an cosmetic treatment to lift and tighten the sagging skin tissues using Bio-Absorbable and Anti-Microbial filament threads.

FTC is not a permanent treatment, the thread stay in the skin for about 180 to 240 days and then it will dissolved by itself. The lifting effect various according to our age but generally the lasting effect is 2 years. So now you know about FTC, well according to Dr. Aidil FTC is also very popular for face life.

There are 10 threads in 1 package of FTC for Nose, Dr. Aidil advised me to do 6 threads first and kept the remaining 4 threads for the next round, like after 3 months. Well, I think that is the best way because I don’t wish to have such dramatic changes, gradual is fine for me.

Let’s start! After taking the before photos, the nurse took me into the treatment room to prep my skin and applied the numb cream on my nose, the treatment area. I rested for about 30 minutes and I am ready to start.

Am I nervous? Yes… but I managed to complete the treatment in less than 10 minutes. That is so fast right! I can’t believe it too. I only feel the slight pain during the anesthetic injection, there is no pain during the insertion of the threads. Dr. Aidil is very skillful, fast and every stroke precise. That makes me feel confident.

Safety of Fine Thread Contour (FTC)

FTC requires minimal invasiveness, fast and easy procedures. As you can see in the video, the procedure is very fast. There is no scar, it’s extremely small incisions. There is minimal bleeding and very minimal downtime. As for me, the next morning after my treatment I can go to event already.

FTC gives and instant and lasting results. Immediately after my treatment I can see the results. There were minor swelling, after the treatment I went back and put ice pack on the treatment area the next morning there was no more swell or redness. This treatment also can be combined with micro-needling, PRP, Laser, or Chemical Peel to enhance more for skin rejuvenations and alopecia improvement. After the treatment I was given some medications and creams for home care.

I can see the results my nose bridge is higher. As for me it heel very fast, the next day my swelling all subsides and I am able to go out. The clinic called to follow-up on the next day just to check my condition. After a week I went back to the clinic for follow up and it’s all great.

As you can see from the before and after the photo, there are significant improvements on my nose bride after 1 week. And also I noticed that the skin around the treatment area is brighter and glowing, the FTC actually helps to boost skin collagen and also firming.
