We stayed at Dara Independence Beach Resort & Spa during our recent trip in Sihanoukville. There are 128 rooms available including the deluxe room, pavilions, studios, suites, villas and pool villas.

Here is our deluxe room which is the most popular accommodation with a decor mixing traditional Khmer elements and modern design. There is an impressive windows view if the rainforest with the ocean in the background. Wifi is provided and it’s free plus easily connected throughout the day within the vicinity of the hotel. There are coffee and tea making facility, bathrobe and bathtub in our bathroom too; yay to some relaxing time after a long day outside.

Here for the scrumptious BBQ Seafood dinner at the Sunset Restaurant ~  a relaxing evening with sunset view over looking at horizon, cocktails and bountiful BBQ dinner with lots of fresh seafood, meats, local delicacies and desserts.

The chef served the best lobster bisque that I ever tasted, the right soup texture and flavor plus freshest in every bite. That evening I had like 2 crabs and still can’t get enough of them.

The Coral Restaurant where we had out breakfast every morning, they served international buffet breakfast. Where you can try the local breakfast such as noodle soup and rice or opt for American breakfast with sausage, bacon and baked beans or intercontinental breakfast that comes with a variety of pastries breads and jams, salad and fruits. You can order your choice of eggs too.

My Inflight Hot Meals ~ Thai Green Curry with Rice 

Our flight from Kuala Lumpur (KLIA2) to Sihanoukville via AirAsia is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. On my flight to Sihanoukville from Kuala Lumpur, I had Thai Green Curry with rice. Oh yumsss… love the spicy and cream green curry it aroused my appetite. So don’t forget to pre-book your inflight hot meals when you book your flight.
