Baked Australian lamb loin marinated in turmeric, lemongrass, ginger and traditional spices. Their lamb is the best! perfect combination, first I love lamb and spicy food.

Opor rusuk is beef ribs slow-cooked in a thick gravy of aromatic spices, toasted coconut, palm sugar and coconut milk. By looking at the dish you will salivate, their beef is slow cooked to perfection, it’s juicy and tender with perfect flavours and aroma from all the traditional spices.

Ikan Siakap Sos Asam

Ikan Siakap Sos Asam

Deep fried seabass served with a tangy blend of peanut & tamarind sauce, slices of raw four angled bean, red onions and red chillies. The seabass skin is fragrant and crispy and the fish meat is still juicy inside. The special peanut & tamarind sauce is very special and well blend, it’s like smooth satay sauce with stronger tanginess.

Sotong Hitam Manis

Squid cooked with chilli paste, lemongrass and squid ink. This dish may not look appetizing, but wait till you try it you will finish it all. The squid is tender and cook just right, not chewy at all and the flavour is very special.

Fried chicken pieces simmered in a sweet & spicy sauce of chilies, tomatoes & spices. Ayam masak merah is one Malaysians everyday favourite dishes, but over here they cooked it in such a way that I can taste the marination and spices in the chicken meat itself.

Pucuk Paku Goreng Tahi Minyak

Have you tried Pucu Paku before? If not you have to order this traditional village dish, it’s wild fern stir fried with chilli, caramelized coconut and shrimps. I love this dish and everytime when I eat in Bijan I will order it.

Overall we had a great dining experience at Bijan Bar & Restaurant, where food is delicate, ambience is cozy and exclusive and service is tip top. The restaurant decors mostly from natural wood, by the way you can also choose al-fresco dining. 

I highly recommend Bijan Bar & Restaurant for Fine Malay Cuisine and dining experience. Their dishes are a mix of recipes handed down over the generations cooked with fresh and quality ingredients. The taste and presentation is consistence and authentic especially the spices and herbs used.

Bijan is located near to KLCC and Bukit Bintang area, it’s an oasis to unwind with drinks while enjoying the fine malay cuisine. Throughout the years, Bijan has won many awards and recently voted as Best Malay Restaurant in TimeOutKL Food Awards for 2017.
