Using Visa payWave is Cool & Convenient

I’m sure by now you must have enabled your debit or credit cards’ PIN and PAY that replaced signature-based verifications for transactions beginning 1^st of July, 2017. By the way, do you know that besides PIN and PAY; you can also use Visa payWave which is super cool, convenient and fast?

Using Visa payWave is Cool & Convenient

For any purchases below RM250, all you need to do is hold or wave your Visa payWave card over the payWave terminal (within 4cm) at the cashier counter. Payment is done without the need to key in PIN. This is truly convenient when you are doing your groceries or buying some knick knacks. It’s definitely faster than have to key in your PIN.

For example, after my regular run around my neighborhood usually I’ll stop over at the convenience store to get my water or treats. All I want is to go in, get my stuff, pay and go. I don’t want to stay in the store so long because I am sweaty and hot.

Visa payWave comes in very convenient, fast and handy for small purchases like this. Payment is done within seconds, it saves me time and hassle of privately keying in my PIN, so cool right!

Visa Card can also be used for payment above RM250, just have to key in the PIN

Not only do I also use the same card for my shopping, I also use it to fill up petrol and pay bills. Your Visa Card can also be used for payment transactions above RM250 but you just have to key in your PIN. This is similar to the past where you can still use Visa payWave for purchases above RM250 but you will have to sign.

After so many months using Visa payWave since it was introduced in Malaysia, I am so used to this payment system, just wave and go. Throughout my experience using Visa payWave I did not encounter any problem and I find it very convenient.
