Homemade Yogurt with Chia Seed, Mix Nuts & Orange Recipe
What’s
for breakfast? I try to cook my own meals at home as much as I can because it’s
cleaner and healthier. Apart from overnight oats, I like yogurt for my
breakfast also but sometimes my fridge run out of yogurt, what should I do? Hah!
there is a rescue, we can make our own yogurt at home with milk. Yes the main
ingredient is milk. Today I’m going to share with you my Homemade Yogurt with Chia
Seed, Mix Nuts & Orange Recipe.

Ingredients
500ml
full cream milk
2
tablespoon plain yogurt
2
tablespoon chia seed
Fresh
orange
Methods
1. Simmer
the milk on medium heat to right below boiling point. Stir the milk gently as
it heats. This heating step helps to change the protein structure in the milk
so it sets as a solid instead of separating.
2. Let
the milk cool until it’s just warm to the touch, stir occasionally to prevent
the skin from forming.
3. Add the
2 tablespoon yogurt into the milk and stir gently.
4. Pour
mixture into glass bottle.
5.
Ferment the mixture in Panasonic Cubie Oven using Auto Menus No 8 (yogurt).

6. Remove the bottle from the oven when it’s ready, add the chia seeds and stir.
7. Cool the yogurt and keep it in the fridge overnight.
8. Add orange and mix nuts before serving it.
