The Importance of Skin Moisture Restoration
Irrespective
of what type of skin, be it sensitive, oily, combination or dry, we still need
to use the suitable cream, lotion or gel to restore the moisture back to our
skin. Plus it is also part of the 3 basic skincare routine that one must abide
in order to have a healthy and glowing skin. Currently, I am using Cetaphil
Moisturizing Cream and Gentle Skin Cleanser for face and body to replenish my

Why
restore skin moisture is important? If you skip your skin moisturizer, your skin
will be dehydrated. For some
serious cases, the skin will flake, have redness or redness. In time, it can
allow wrinkles and other aging signs to show up on your skin earlier. Also, if you have
sensitive skin or a skin condition, moisturizing regularly might help ease the irritation.

Moisturizing
after shower is very important especially after hot shower. While hot water
may be relaxing, it also wreaks havoc on our skin. Because hot water strip off the moisture and oils out of our skin, leaving it parched and dry. Remember never
skip the skin moisturizer after shower and after cleansing our face!

As you
know I have dry and dehydrated skin, some of the facial cleanser and shower gel
or cream that are available in the marketing are not so suitable for my skin. I
tried some of them and I caused my skin to itch, feels tight and dry. So I am a
bit careful now because as I aged my skin tends to become more sensitive.

I was introduced to Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser few years ago, and till now I can say that it’s one of the best skin cleansers. Because the formulation is so gentle and does not cause any irritation. What I learnt during Cetaphil’s 70th Anniversary event was that this product has been clinically proven and was one of the first products by Cetaphil. The formula remains relevant till today. The formula is soap-free, so it is suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin and baby too.

Gentle Skin Cleanser is convenient when I travel because it’s an ideal cleanser
for my face and body. You know sometime the hotel toiletries just don’t get
along with my skin, could be a bit drying and harsh too. The Gentle Skin
Cleanser washes the skin impurities without stripping off our natural skin
moisture, doesn’t cause skin irritation or over-dry the skin.

The
texture is milky and soft there is no scent because it doesn’t contain
fragrance, soap and it is lanolin free. Just pour a bit on the palm, massage
gently on face or body, then rinse off with water. Psttt… plus it can be used
with or without water.

This is
one of the must have at home, in the office, in my handbag and also luggage. I
have dry skin especially on my hands, elbows and knees. Cetaphil Moisturizing
Cream is very handy because it suitable for chronic dry and sensitive skin for
both my face and body.

After my
shower I will apply this moisturizing cream on my body. The texture is dense,
creamy and there is no fragrance. It contains sweet almond oil, a natural
emollient, superior system of extra-strength emollients and humectants binds
water to the skin preventing moisture loss.
This
moisturizer absorbs very fast into my skin leaving a very comfortable feels and
provides a long lasting relief to my dry skin. Plus it is not sticky or oily so
I can apply as many times as I wish, anytime and anywhere.

the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and Moisturizing Cream is the perfect duo and
