Anchor Food Professionals is taking our enjoyment of pizza a level up into an art form
by introducing their extraordinary and gourmet pizzas. The PizzART pizza creations
are not just delicious, they are delicious masterpieces. Recently, we were privileged
be part of the PizzART Trail by Anchor
Food Professionals to try out a series of artisanal pizzas at different
outlets. Come! join me to discover the new artisanal pizzas…

Our Pizza
Trail kicked started at MOVIDA, IOI
Boulevard in Puchong at our first stop. That day we covered 3 outlets and
each outlets served different kind of PIZZART. We were greeted by Ms Linda Tan,
Director of Anchor Food Professionals Malaysia. Anchor Food Professionals introduced PIZZART / artisanal pizzas that are taking
the world by storm.
The masterpieces such as Flower Pizzas, Pizza Bombs,
Adjaruli Khachapuri, Mini Muffin Pizzas and Pot Pie Pizzas are now available at
25 outlets in Peninsula and East Malaysia from May to mid-November 2017. At the
moment, the Flower Pizzas are yet to be made available; however their partners
may introduce it a little later during this campaign.

comes our first PIZZART the Mini Trio Muffin Pizzas are in bite-sized version of
delicious pizza and perfect for all day. The Mini Trio Muffin Pizzas is prices
at RM15.80 and comes in 3 different flavours of smoked duck and peach; chicken peperoni
and jalapena; and turkey ham and chives.

The Mini
Muffin Pizzas has be to eaten when it’s hot when the cheese is still melted and
the filling inside is still warm. I like this unique pizza because not only the
bite-sized makes it easy to eat but also the ingredients are kept warm and
juicy on the inside. Of the 3 flavours I love smoked duck and peach the most.
It has the perfect combination of cheese, smock duck and the sweet juicy peach inside. Its my comfort food.

The
artisanal pizzas were conceptualized and created by the Anchor Food
Professionals chefs as a way to help their partners create more excitement and
varieties. I have
tried making my own pizza before and it’s definitely not an easy feat. You
know, the dough needs to be kneaded, proofed and prepared in a way to achieve
that perfect chewiness on the inside and the crispiness on the outside.
The
artisanal pizzas are made by kitchen crew with advanced culinary skills, and in
restaurants with pizza ovens. Anchor Food Professionals has trained the kitchen
crews in the ways of a skilled pizzaiolo which lends the pizzas an artisanal
appeal.

Our next
stop was U Pizzeria in Subang Jaya, where we get to try the U Formaggio where
its filled with generous hot cheese. The outlet also served Adjaruli Khachapuri
is a boat shaped pizza filled with hot cheese and oozing egg and is a Georgian
invention, all the rage in food capitals of the world.

The pot
pie pizzas are as hearty and satisfying as they sound with pizza dough used as
a pie crust with all the flavours and stringy cheesiness of a pizza steaming
inside.

Our last
stop was at MOVIDA Sunway Giza in Kota Damansara, where we tried the Salted Egg
Pizza Bombs. It’s an explosion of flavours and cheesiness in a ball of chewy
dough with a crispy crust.

Overall,
we had an enjoyable afternoon savouring the deliciously masterpiece artisanal
pizzas at various outlets. The Pizzas were created using only the finest
ingredients such as Anchor Mozzarella Cheese, Anchor Butter, Anchor Culinary
Creams and Anchor Cream Cheese, all brought in from New Zealand. The right
stringiness of cheese lends texture, experience and the creaminess you crave in
a pizza.

The
artisanal pizzas will be available at Movida and U Pizzeria in Klang Valley,
Movida and U Pizzeria in Perak, US Pizza and Lunarich in Penang, Sky Garden
Resto Bar in Kedah, Movida in Melaka and Johor, Ejohng Concept in Johor, The
Chubs Grill and Mad Ben Café in Sabah and Chillax Café & Bistro, Coup De
Grill and Bistecca & Bistro in Sarawak from now until middle of November
2017.
