Mak’s Chee Swiss Chicken Leg at Pavilion Elite Outlet
Hey recently
we hopped over to Mak’s Chee @ Pavilion Elite, KL for lunch, apparently this is their 2nd new outlet. We heard
about their delectable and authentic limited time dish Swiss Chicken Leg; let's try.
Mak’s Chee Swiss Chicken Leg @ Pavilion Elite |
Well, we
review about Mak’s Chee at their first outlet in 1 Utama Shopping Mall last
year. Mak’s Chee is well known for its authentic Hong-Kong-style prawn wonton
noodles, famous with its 100-year old recipe from the Mak’s Family. In
conjunction with the opening of its second outlet, Mak’s Chee is introducing the
new dish, Swiss Chicken Leg to tantalize our taste bud.
Original Swiss Chicken Leg, RM9.90 |
Swiss Chicken Leg Rice with Sunny Side-up Egg, RM15.90 |
I prefer the Swiss Chicken Leg Rice with Sunny Side-up Egg, the aromatic and flavourful chicken leg is slow-cooked with sweet soy sauce and a variety of herbs and spices. Swiss Chicken Leg is a specialty of Hong Kong food culture, and indeed a local Hong Kong recipe. The meat is still tender and smooth, the gravy goes so well with hit steamed rice.
This promotional dish is now offered at an introductory promotional price starting from RM9.90 per plate from 4th May to 31st July, 2017. There will be three options to choose from Original Swiss Chicken Leg, Swiss Chicken Leg Rice with Sunny Side-up Egg and Swiss Chicken Leg Dry Noodle.
Besides
the Swiss Chicken Leg, we also tried some of their signature dishes such as:
Signature Sea Prawn Wonton Soup Noodle, (S) RM12.90 | (B) RM14.90 |
Prawn Roe Dry Noodle, (S) RM12.90 | (B) RM14.90 |
Champion Milk Tea on Bed of Ice, RM6.90 |
Overall,
I like the modern and casual design of this new Mak’s Chee outlet. Food quality
and taste are consistent and generally good.
