Some of us have experience dine in the dark but have you try shopping in the dark? It’s a challenge isn’t it? Recently Energizer introduced Shop In The Dark with Virtual Reality (VR) Twist that I find it very interesting. VR shopping could be the next shopping trend.

Energizer in partnership with MYDIN is once again organizing the Energizer ‘Shop In The Dark’ 2017 for its loyal fans and MYDIN shoppers who will be in the running to win a shopping spree worth RM3,500.

This year brings about an additional twist with the VR challenge to the roadshows where shoppers will be shopping in the dark through a VR machine. If are interested to participate through the roadshows or mail in entry are required to provide a proof of purchase with a minimum of RM10 worth of Energizer or Eveready products.

In addition to the on ground roadshows, shoppers and Energizer users can submit their entry via the Facebook Digital Contest and mail-in entries. The virtual reality challenge roadshows will take place at four selected MYDIN stores located in four states across Peninsular Malaysia – Selangor, Penang, Negeri Sembilan and Johor.

The Energizer ‘Shop In The Dark’ 2017 Roadshow dates and locations are as below:

MYDIN USJ, Subang Jaya, Selangor: 5^th – 7^th  May 2017

MYDIN Pelangi Indah, Johor: 12^th - 14^th  May 2017

MYDIN Senawang, Negeri Sembilan: 19^th – 21^st  May 2017

MYDIN Bukit Mertajam, Penang: 26^th – 28^th  May 2017

Four winners from the roadshow challenges, five winners from the mail-in entries and one winner from the Facebook contest will win an eight-minute shopping spree bonus worth up to RM3,500 each during the contest finale which will take place at MYDIN USJ, Subang Jaya in July. 

During the shopping spree, the winners can load up anything they wish (with restrictions and pre-imposed parameters) into their shopping cart. The items in the shopping cart will be paid in full by Energizer up to RM 3,500.
