We were privileged to preview Bianco Mimosa Eid 2017 t’Amore Collection personally hosted by Dato Ida Suraya Bt. Mustafa, the Managing Director of Bianco Mimosa herself at their boutique and HQ in Sungai Buloh. It was a very inspiring experience to get to know about Dato Ida’s journey towards her up-coming A Tale of Tongkang Yard Fashion Show in New York in August 2017. And yes we were mesmerized by their Raya 2017 collection which in not only rich in details, delicate workmanship and superior fabric quality at an affordable pricing.

Bianco Mimosa A Tale of Tongkang Yard From Malaysia to New York 

According to Dato Ida, her designs are inspired by her profession as an engineer and also through her travel experiences. Bianco Mimosa was incorporated on 26 April 2013 and now it’s a renowned fashion house not only in Malaysia, but also in the region and international fashion industry as well. Bianco Mimosa’s name originated from Italian language; Bianco means white and Mimosa is a Malaysia plant name called Pokok Semalu.

Currently, Bianco Mimosa not only emphasizes on exclusive haute couture collections but also well-known for their ready-to-wear collection for women, men and kids plus Mimosa Fabric. Most of the fabrics are imported from Europe especially from Italy.

The Tale of Tongkang Yard haute couture collection will be showcased in New York, United States of America is designed and inspired by Dato’ Ida Suraya Bt. Mustafa’s hometown called Tongkang Yard in Alor Star, Kedah.
